Patient survey

Covid-19 has altered the way that appointments are managed at this Surgery. Through use of technology, we have been able to offer patients telephone and online consultations, which we feel have improved areas of our service, including increased accessibility for patients, and reduced waiting times, especially during times when we are short staffed.

In order to facilitate this effectively, we implemented a total triage system for booking appointments. This seems to have worked well and reduced the waiting times for an appointment with a Clinician. Not everyone is aware of the additional services and support we have available to us, for example the Physiotherapists, Paramedics, Social Prescribers etc. By triaging requests for appointments, we can ensure you have an appointment with the right person, at the right time.

As you will be aware, our premises are quite small, however with the ability to work from home, we can offer more appointments than previously. This enables us to keep the Surgery operational and help us look after our patients more efficiently.
