COVID-19 Update – in order for Feltwell Surgery to remain open during these unprecedented times, we are asking our patients to do their bit to reduce the spread of this disease. Please adhere to the social distancing and self isolating regulations. If you are unsure then visit the NHS 111 or Government Coronavirus websites for accurate and up-to-date information.
We are working tirelessly to put systems in place which will allow us to safely carry on caring for our patients who need it the most. Please do not phone or come to the Surgery unless you have an urgent medical need to do so.
The majority of our appointments are now telephone consultations so we need to keep the phone lines free. Please visit our website for information/queries as this is monitored throughout the day and someone will get back to you as soon as we can.
In order for us to re-stock our Dispensary, as of today the Dispensary will be closed from 12.00 – 2.00pm Monday to Friday. Nationally we are experiencing medication shortages due to patients over ordering, so please only order what you need. We are also asking patients to pay by card and not cash for infection control purposes.
We have increased our medication deliveries to Tuesdays and Thursdays to try to help the over 70’s and vulnerable at risk patients. If you know of any patients in your community who fall into this category, then please offer to help them where you can.
If you are at high risk you will be contacted by the NHS by Sunday 29th March – please do not contact your GP or Healthcare Team at this stage – wait to be contacted.
Please be considerate and patient with all staff. We are all at risk too and are just as anxious as everybody else. However, we are still coming in to work every day, knowing the risks, to care for our patients. Help us to help you – stay at home and stay safe.
