We understand that when you are feeling unwell, you may wish to be seen as quickly as possible. Our same-day urgent appointments are reserved for patients with serious or medically urgent problems that cannot safely wait.
When requesting an urgent appointment, please describe your symptoms as clearly and accurately as possible. This helps our clinical triage team prioritise patients safely and fairly.
Deliberately exaggerating or providing misleading information in order to obtain a same-day appointment is taken very seriously. It affects our ability to care for patients who are genuinely unwell and undermines the trust that is essential in the doctor–patient relationship.
If this occurs, it may result in a formal review of your registration with our Practice and could lead to removal from our Practice register.
